Live edge Iroko spanking paddle. Iroko is a dense, hard timber, similar to Teak, but lighter in weight. The thinness, combined with the density, mean that this paddle will provide a very stingy sensation. This paddle incorporates a ‘live edge’, meaning it incorporates the edge of the tree and uses the curvaceous edge as a part of the finished piece. The length, including handle, is approximately 46cm, the width approximately 5cm and the thickness around 0.7cm. All sizes are approximate as they are hand cut and hand finished. Timber is a natural product and so the paddle you receive will vary in grain pattern and shade. To care for your paddle, just wipe down with an antiseptic wipe and allow to air dry. An occasional application of food safe oil, wiped on with a cloth or paper towel, will ensure the finish is maintained.
