Description
Red Elm curved spanking paddle. This design was inspired by an offcut of Tulipwood that I found in my timber rack. This paddle is unique in both look and feel to it. It is an example of ‘because I can’. The handle is asymmetric and flows smoothly into the long, multiple curves of the blade. Red Elm is a light, strong species, similar to Ash, but darker in colour. Designed with a thicker blade to add an element of thud to what will be a very stingy paddle, but don’t be fooled into thinking that this is just a paddle for ‘fun’ishment! The length and balance allow the use of either just the tip, or the full blade across buttocks or thighs!
This style of paddle, in Red Elm, is currently a one-off item. I really love how it looks, and how it feels in the hand so I may buy more Red Elm in future. The item you receive will be the one featured in the pictures.
The length, including handle, is approximately 55cm. The width approximately 5cm and the thickness around 2cm. All sizes are approximate as they are hand cut and hand finished. To care for your implement, just wipe down with an antiseptic wipe and allow to air dry. To maintain the finish, just apply an occasional coat of food safe oil with a soft cloth.
