Purpleheart ridgeback spanking paddle. Two toys in one! Purpleheart is a very dense, heavy timber, and as such provides a harsh, thuddy effect. The flat face is just like a standard paddle. In Purpleheart this makes for a very severe punishment. However, the ridged side offers lots of new possibilities in both impact and sensation play. A sound spanking with the ridged side provides a different experience. Thuddy like the smooth face, but the multiple, narrow, impact points create a unique sensation. Truly a paddle for more severe punishments. For sensation play, as opposed to straight spanking, the possibilities are only limited by your own imagination… but could incorporate sawing, stroking and tapping various areas of the body. The Purpleheart ridgeback spanking paddle is not only very versatile, it is a rather beautiful piece of work which will enhance any implement rack.
This is a stock paddle design in Cherry and Walnut. However, the Purpleheart version is a one-off however, the result of a special commission I received. I make these paddles in pairs, so this is the remaining piece. Purpleheart is challenging to work with, especially on intricate designs like this, so I will not be making these on a regular basis. The item pictured is the one you will receive.
The length, including handle, is approximately 43cm, the width approximately 5.5cm and the thickness around 2cm. All sizes are approximate as they are hand cut and hand finished. Timber is a natural product and the paddle you receive will vary from the one in the picture in respect of grain and shade.
To care for your paddle, just wipe down with an antiseptic wipe and allow to air dry. An occasional application of food safe oil, wiped on with a cloth or paper towel, will ensure the finish is maintained.
