Description
Cherry spanking spatula – short handled. Cherry is light in weight, but is strong and durable, and will provide a very stinging sensation which is amplified by the focused point of impact, producing quite a punishing effect when applied vigorously. Cherry is an exceptionally beautiful species, pale, golden, almost honey coloured, with pale brown grain, which can sometimes be highly figured. This is like my standard shaped spatula, but with a slightly shorter handle… due to a little accident whilst I was carving it. Even I mess things up occasionally! It was too nice to throw away, so here it is, a one-off piece, and the one pictured is the one you will receive. The length, including handle, is approximately 32cm, the width approximately 6.5cm and the thickness around 2cm. All sizes are approximate as they are hand cut and hand finished. To care for your implement, just wipe down with an antiseptic wipe and allow to air dry. An occasional application of food safe oil, wiped on with a cloth or paper towel, will ensure the finish is maintained.
